Ken Hayes

Hello, thanks for visiting my page! I've been here at B105 since 2007, and I've been a part of the Northland my whole life! I was born and raised on the Iron Range, and I've hopped around a few different parts of the country before returning to the Twin Ports where I call home. I love being close to the woods and the lakes where I can fish and hunt, and I think this is a great place for my wife and I to raise our kids. I love doing the Breakfast Club each morning with my co-host Cathy, and I thank you for waking up with us!

Cathy Proves She is Too Light To Lower an Office Chair In a Hilarious Video

If you've been listening to the Breakfast Club Show recently, you've probably heard that I've been having some serious back pain.  This lead to a simple request I had for Cathy.  Every morning she raises my studio chair all the way to to to use it as a table.  I just asked her to lower it back down so I can sit without hurting my back.  Turns out she can't even lower it, and she demonstrates how hard it is in this hilarious video!

Is It More Expensive To Fix Aluminum Body On New Ford F-150′s? [VIDEO]

One of the most exciting things to happen in the automotive industry is the introduction of the aluminum body from Ford.  It's lighter, less likely to dent (because lighter means they can make it thicker), and also more costly.  Edmunds.com did a great video on what happens if you need body work done to an aluminum truck.  Would it be more expensive?

Burger King’s Four Cheese Whopper Review, It’s A Messy But Tasty Burger

Yesterday was one of those days where I said, screw eating healthy.  I'm gonna get a whopper.  So a friend and I went to Burger King down the street.  We stood in line looking at the menu board with drool coming out of the corner of our mouths when we saw it:  the FOUR CHEESE WHOPPER!  Angels began to sing, I felt joy in my heart (or cholesterol), and a bright, heavenly light appeared.  Four Cheeses on a whopper?  What could go wrong?

New Superior Police Chief Uses Social Media To Connect With Community

I was just having a conversation with a colleague about how important it is nowadays for city governments and officials to use social media competently.  It is how your community connects, and if you aren't tuned in you are not relevant.  I was happy to see that the recently sworn in Chief of Police in Superior, Nicholas Alexander, has created his own page to connect with the community.

Why Does Cathy Take Her Pills With Boiling Hot Coffee? [VIDEO]

Cathy had a headache from the time she woke up this morning, so she decided to take an Advil during the morning show.  I've noticed in the past that everytime she tries to take a pill, she uses her searing hot coffee to wash it down.  Why not just go get a glass of water, and not burn your throat?   Well she's stubborn, so this time I caught it on video.
