‘Wonder Woman’ Solo Film Will Begin Shooting This Fall
Last we heard, Warner Bros. hadn’t yet officially given the Wonder Woman solo film the green light, which wasn’t entirely surprising given that a script wasn’t firmly in place. But today brings good news on the Wonder Woman front: shooting will begin this fall for the hero’s upcoming solo adventure, with — as previously confirmed — Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad vet Michelle MacLaren in the director’s chair.
SNL’s Norm MacDonald Tells a Crazy SNL 40 Story About “Celebrity Jeopardy!” and Eddie Murphy
SNL episodes are hard, often frenzied work, so you can imagine the sort of time and dedication and stress that went into the SNL 40 show, which featured new and former cast members along with several guest stars. One of the highlights of the three and a half hour event was the return of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” with Norm MacDonald, Will Ferrell and Darrell Hammond reprising their iconic sketch roles alongside fellow SNL stars, including Kenan Thompson doing a hilarious (and timely) Bill Cosby impression. But according to MacDonald, Thompson wasn’t originally supposed to be in the sketch: Eddie Murphy was.
‘Avengers’ Star Mark Ruffalo Hints at Possibilities for New Hulk Solo Movie
Although Marvel hasn’t included a Hulk film in their Phase 3 plans, the possibility for a new solo movie for Bruce Banner and his smashing alter-ego isn’t entirely out of the question — Marvel did just make room for a new Spider-Man film on their schedule, after all. And while it doesn’t appear that the studio is actively developing a new Hulk movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron star Mark Ruffalo remains optimistic, hinting at the possibilities for his big green character in the future of the MCU.

We’ve been hearing bits and pieces about various elements of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ from the origins of Ultron and Vision to who Andy Serkis might be playing in the film. But we haven’t heard a whole lot about what’s up with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, the super-powered twins teased at the end of ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier.’ What we do know is that they’re going up against the Avengers. What we haven’t known is why…until now. Plus, Marvel has released a bunch of photos from the upcoming sequel, in case you felt like Hulking-out.

As for the rest of the new ‘Star Wars’ films: it’s been reported for a while that Disney plans on releasing a new film each year for the next several years, but the studio hasn’t made anything publicly official…until now.
