Earlier this month Steve Jobs was talking about the new iCloud that is coming soon from Apple.  Basically it's an online storage area for apple customers.  Now Apple is making another splash by announcing their plans to make and Apple TV.  But not just an ordinary TV.This TV will have iTunes, and Apple TV already built into it.  (Apple TV is a device that hasn't sold great for Apple's standards and isn't an actual full functioning TV.)  Apple hopes that it will knock Netflix off the map as seen in this article from CNN.

Apple plans to "blow Netflix and all those other guys away" with a console that would have Apple TV and iTunes built into it, the source reportedly told DailyTech.

The report says Apple plans to team up with an existing manufacturer to provide televisions that would be branded under the Apple name.

"You'll go into an Apple retail store and be able to walk out with a TV," said the former exec, who DailyTech said spoke under the condition of anonymity. "It's perfect."

I really have to applaud what Apple has been doing.  I'm someone who 5 years ago never thought I would be buying an Apple product.  Now I own an Apple iPhone, buy tons of accessories, and wish I could afford a trendy iMac.  We'll see if they can take it to the next level with their smart TV.  Oh, and you bet I'll be looking forward to iCloud!
