A Local Favorite For Pizza + Pasta To Close All Duluth Locations

Sad news for Northland pizza and pasta lovers as a Northland favorite will be closing both Duluth locations.

Vintage Italian Pizza (VIP) is known for the care it takes to feed Twin Ports pizza and pasta lovers. As they state on their website:

VIP currently has three locations, with a dine-in restaurant in Superior and two Duluth locations that provide take-out and delivery options. However, both Duluth locations plan to close by the end of the year.

Barry Shaw, manager of VIP in Superior, confirmed the Duluth closings and anticipated the closing date for each to be Saturday, December 30. This would include both the West Duluth location, at 3901 Grand Avenue, and the East Duluth location at 1830 E. 8th Steet

However, there is some good news for Vintage Italian Pizza lovers.

While Shaw did confirm that both Duluth VIP locations would unfortunately be closing, he also reiterated that the Superior location, at 1201 Tower Avenue, would remain open for dine-in, take-out, and delivery.

The Superior Vintage Italian Pizza location also has 3 different banquet rooms which are great for weddings, class reunions, family gatherings, meetings, conferences, and more.

It's also worth noting that VIP's Premium Bolognese Blend Pasta Sauce and their Dandre Recipe Pizza Sauce are both available at Super One, Whole Foods, Mount Royal Fine Foods, and other Northland stores.
