2014 John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon Will Be Held Afterall [VIDEO]

Almost as quickly as it was announced that the 30th running of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon would be cancelled due to lack of funds and the need to reorganize, there was a change in leadership and the race will is now expected to be run as originally scheduled.

KBJR-TV is reporting that Tone Coughlin, the current race director for the North Shore Inline marathon along with Jason Rice, who has been involved with Beargrease before, will take the helm in hopes of saving this year’s race.
