You’re Invited to Share Thoughts and Ask Questions on the Downtown Duluth Street Improvement Plan
From the Greater Downtown Council, the City of Duluth invites you to attend a meeting on the Street Improvement Plan as leaders work to find funding solutions. This is not the same as the Superior Street Reconstruction plan.
The meeting will take place at noon on Monday, December 2nd, in room 303 at Duluth City Hall.
At these meetings, City officials will provide a brief overview, outline the goals and challenges, and discuss possible solutions including funding sources. Staff will be on hand to help lead the discussion, answer questions, and record feedback from the public. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
A streets working group has been meeting regularly for several months to address and summarize the issue of street improvements and provide possible solutions. The working group consists of City staff (administration, engineering, streets maintenance, and finance) as well as three city councilors, as appointed by the Council President.
