Here is an unique, unconventional way for you and your non-profit group to raise some $$$ while having a great time creating camaraderie.   My Denfeld Cheer Team and I did this last summer and had a blast!

The North Shore Scenic Railroad has created a fantastic way for non-profit groups to raise cash while having fun by volunteering at an event in the Twin Ports that attracts over 17,000 families in just 6 days.  Mark your calendars for the first two weekends in August and get ready to R O L L with Thomas the Train!

If you come with a group of 10 or more you can get a $200 donation.  If you are a group of 20 or more you'll bank $400.  They are opening this volunteer opportunity to girl and boy scouts, church groups, sporting teams, benefits, etc.

What will you be doing?

There is so many fun activities to be involved with the day will fly by!  You'll be greeting the guests as they arrive and handing out maps and information (I did that).  There is need for face painters, which I was told I couldn't do because I can't even paint a wall.  You might be asked to man the bouncy houses or craft area (I did that, FUN!).  Or, (and I left this one to my cheer team because they wanted to work the train), you could help with the boarding and de-boarding of Thomas.  Plus much more!

Obviously this fills up VERY fast, so make the decision with your group now and get yourselves signed up. Call to reserve your spot and you'll make money for your group the fun way, making memories!
