Your Artistic Talents Could Be Displayed At The New Vikings Stadium

Calling all artists of all kinds of work!  Have you an artistic talent that has thus far only been displayed in the confines of your own home?  Why not step out of your comfort zone and submit it to the Minnesota Vikings?  You could see your art displayed on the walls of the new Vikings stadium!

The works of Minnesota artists will be on display at the new Vikings stadium.  They are looking to purchase up to 100 pieces of different kinds of artwork hoping to create a one-of-a-kind, museum-quality art collection with variety for the new stadium.  Keep in mind that they hope to showcase the Vikings history, Minnesota sports history, and other regional history when you're choosing your pieces to share.

They are searching for different sources of artwork:

• Paintings (oils, acrylic, watercolor and mixed media)
• Sketches/Drawings (pen and ink, charcoal and pastels)
• Mixed Media (found objects, digital, assemblage and collage)
• Photography
• Sculptures
• Murals
• Digital Art

They are interested in all levels and experience of artists.  This is what you need to do,  submit a short bio, sample images of artistic pieces indicating the style of your work and any other information you want to share via PDF to art@newminnesotastadium.com. (PDF submissions should be no larger than 5MB and contain up to eight visual samples of past pieces created by each artists)

You have until February 1, 2015 to choose a piece. That's when they will open for Artist Submissions.  The deadline for submissions will be March 31, 2015.  If you are lucky enough to be one of the artists chosen, they plan to notify you sometime in June of 2015.
