Tonight, Season 2 of the Blacklist premieres on NBC, following The Voice.  I'll be honest, I didn't watch the first season at all when it aired.  Last week I noticed that it was now on Netflix, so I thought I'd give it a shot.  I immediately fell in love, and if it wasn't for my limited time I would have binged watched the first 22 episodes.  (I did manage to watch 13, in 4 days... not bad.)

Anyway, I'll be recording this season's episodes so they will be there once I catch up.

What makes The Blacklist so good is James Spader.  He does an amazing job playing the ruthless criminal with a mysterious motive for helping the FBI.  His character is VERY complex.  Saving a life one moment, then killing an innocent person in the next, but always for a reason.

There is plenty of mystery in the show.  Can you really trust what Reddington is telling you, or is he just playing you?  It's a great show, and worth catching up with.
