I had the honor of emceeing the first ever, Miss Brickyard Pageant in Wrenshall last night.  I am proud to introduce the 2011 Miss Brickyard and Princess.

Miss Brickyard Days: Elizabeth Baker

Miss Brickyard Princess: Natalie Peaney

Both girls were judged on their essay and application submission, a live interview with the judges, a Fashion and a Question and Answer segment.

Thank you to your judges, Annie Dugan, who lives in Wrenshall on a 200 acre vegetable farm.  She is also the curator at the Duluth Art Institute and serves as a mentor at the YMCA.

Our other judge for the evening was Rich Sve, father, businessman and Lake County Commissioner.  Rich established and own painting business in Lake County in 1985 and serves communities from Grand Marais to Carlton.

Thank you to the Pageant Committee for their time and efforts, putting together a fabulous pageant for the girls.  You're invited to meet Elizabeth and Natalie at Wrenshall's Brickyard Days, August 5 & 6th!  See you there!
