If you're a Windows 8 user, today is the big day that you can access the free upgrade to Windows 8.1.

The update is available through a free download and it reportedly addresses some of the complaints people have had with Windows 8, which was a vastly different operating system that attempted  bring the world of tablets and PCs together.
