She's known as the "First Lady of Country Music" and is a legend in her own time.  Loretta Lynn.  You will want to catch her tour when it comes to Grand Casino Mille Lacs on Saturday, September 6.  Win tickets with the Breakfast Club this whole week!

She taught herself to play guitar.  She became a part of the country music scene in Nashville in the 1960s, and in 1967 charted her first of 16 number-one hits. In 1980 her best-selling 1976 autobiography Coal Miner's Daughter was made into an Academy Award-winning film, Coal Miner's Daughter, starring Sissy Spacek and Tommy Lee Jones.  In the 2010 video below Sissy Spacek has the honor of introducing Miranda Lambert and Sheryl Crow who pay tribute to Loretta by singing Coal Miner's Daughter.  The standing ovation is a cue that Loretta herself has joined the stage to turn the duet into a trio, singing her famous song.  If you are truly a fan, watching this video will bring tears to your eyes to see the love and respect the entire venue has for this amazing women.

Win tickets to Loretta Lynn's concert at Grand Casino Mille Lacs with Ken and myself all this week by playing "Are You Smarter Than" at 7:40.  Best of luck!
