Why Santa Claus Should Be Elected President, I’m Writing Him In

As I cast my vote for different offices on Tuesday, I was with my two boys JJ and Sam. I had seen a post by a friend of mine to write in Santa Claus for President.  I thought, that's not a bad idea, how could I sell it to my friends or even to the country.

So, I told my boys about it and they solved the puzzle for me. If Santa Claus was elected President of the United States, it would be Christmas every day.....so to speak. He would give out gifts to everyone, everyday. He doesn't have enough elves to make that many toys so he would have to hire people to help. That would put millions of people to work, that means they would have some disposable income because Santa GIVES the gifts out.That in turn would fuel the economy bringing the national debt down.

Everyone in the world knows who Santa is, each country has a different looking Santa but he is there to give gifts too. So, he would be able to bring  back world peace because the only reason you would not like Santa is...if you are bad. Everyone in the world would want gifts and so they would try to get off of the naughty list.

Because everyone is working together and everyone is getting presents, the really rich people would dedicate their money to causes that are looking for a cure and we could do away with all diseases.

This was all born from my two kids and me. I think it's a good plan!!  Join me election day in two years and write in Santa for President.

Now, I'm going to go talk to the tooth fairy about getting my kids a raise.
