The red-blooded Americans of 4for4.com Fantasy Football are true public servants. These dedicated football junkies hope fellow U.S. citizens will rally behind them and sign a petition at WhiteHouse.gov asking the Obama Administration to declare the Monday following Super Bowl Sunday a national holiday.

The football-loving group suggests that by making the declaration, the Obama Administration would 'promote camaraderie among the American people, keep the streets safer for our children on Sunday night and Monday morning, promote a productive workplace when work resumes on Tuesday, and honor the most popular event in modern American culture.'

And, they have facts (!) to support their drive (...to be allowed to drink freely on Super Bowl Sunday without the worry of a pesky hangover at work on Monday):

An estimated 111 million American citizens watched the Super Bowl in 2012.
Unlike politicians, the Super Bowl unites us in 'the largest location-independent gathering of American people.'
Work sucks (* not actually mentioned in the petition, but implied).

Because, really, what else does the president have to do that's so damn important? You can view — and sign — the petition here. (Admit it: you're tired of taking a sick day on that Monday).
