You may know that we aren't the only Duluth in the United States.  We here in Duluth take pride in our city, and our hearty Midwestern values.  But there is another town named Duluth, and that's in Georgia!  Even if you knew that, have you ever looked to see what it's like.  Here's a few comparisons and even a video to show you what the Southern Duluth looks like.

Duluth Georgia is a small town in North Central Georgia.  It's population at the 2010 census was 26,000 people.  Compare that to Duluth, MN population of 86,000.

Duluth, GA is next to I85.  Duluth, MN is next to I35.  Both towns hospital system is a big party of their economy.  Duluth Georgia is a railroad town, while Duluth MN is a railroad and shipping town.

And then there's the difference between North & South.  Duluth Minnesota's average temperature for the year is 39.45 degrees.  Duluth Georgia is a just a tiny bit warmer.  The nearest city with weather data is Atlanta, and their average temp is 61 degrees.

Here's a video of a walk through downtown Duluth Georgia.
