Wells Fargo announced that they are committing $35,000 to the Western Lake Superior Habitat for Humanity. The grant is to help create affordable home ownership for local families. They also have over 80 Wells Fargo volunteers taking part in building the homes, totaling 600 volunteer hours. They also will be helping older adult existing homeowners with repair projects.

A blessing and groundbreaking will take place on August 16th at 9:30 am at the Duluth Build Site, which is located at 2412 West 1st Street. This is the first time a home has been built by the Western Lake Superior Habitat For Humanity since 2008.

Another build is already underway in Superior, WI, which is the third in the last two years.
