Traditional Youth Snowmobile Safety Classes Teach Proper Riding and Start in Carlton and St. Louis Counties Within the Next Two Weeks
Just like gun safety classes, there are classes held for children to learn the proper techniques and rules of sledding. The Youth Snowmobile Classes travel from County to County, next week they will be in Carlton County and St. Louis County the following week.. Sign your child up today!
These classes are an introductory class and are approximately 12 hours long. They are designed primarily for the snowmobile rider with little or no experience in snowmobile operation. The course includes a number of classroom sessions and a hands-on operating field day. A fee of up to $5.00 may be collected by the instructor for any fees they incur to conduct the class. Each student will also pay an on-line DNR fee of $5.00 upon completion of the course.
