If you haven't brought the kids out to Wednesday night at the races, you really should.  It's a great free event that is put on by the Young Athletes Foundation and Grandmas Marathon.

There are several age groups ranging from 4 and under all the way to 14.  Everyone gets a ribbon too, and it's a nice way to introduce young kids to sports.  We've already taught a couple of lessons to our 3 year old during these races.  1st off, if you fall pick yourself up and finish.  (There were several tears.) 2nd.  Not everyone can always win a prize.

There are some pretty cool prize drawings at the end of the races, which is a nice bonus.  There are still 4 weeks left including next week at Public Schools Stadium.  Registration starts at 5 and races start at 6!  For more info visit the Grandmas Marathon website.
