It was another great CMA Awards night and while you were probably very familiar with some of the big winners like Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and others, you may not be as familiar with the 2014 CMA Song Of The Year.

This is the award that goes to the songwriters, but when the nominees for that category were announced, it was full of big radio hits.  In fact, "Automatic", "I Don't Dance", "Give Me Back To My Hometown", and "I Hold On" were all number one hits this year.  The winning song, however, wasn't a big hit at all.

The CMA Song Of The Year was written by Kacey Musgraves, along with Brandy Black and Shane McAnally. Kacey also performed the song and while it wasn't a huge hit, it is worthy of high praise and awards.

It's a great anthem encouraging people to be whoever they are, regardless of what others may think, and I think it's a song worth sharing once again.

Congratulations to Kacey and all the CMA Awards winners!
