We listen to a lot of new music each week at B105 and some songs really stand out.  This was one of those songs for me.  Life in a small town isn’t always giggles and sunshine and that’s the theme of Kacey Musgrave’s debut single ‘Merry Go Round’.

This song reminds me of Miranda Lambert’s ‘The House That Built Me’, but with a darker tone.  If Kacey Musgraves sounds familiar, perhaps you saw her when she finished seventh on the show Nashville Star in 2007.
