Watch Blake Shelton’s “Wishin’ Boot” from Saturday Night Live [VIDEO]

Blake Shelton was the host and musical guest for Saturday Night Live this past weekend, and I thought he did just fine overall.  This has been a pretty weak SNL season as a whole, but Blake did provide some laughs. 

One thing that cracked me up was his bizarre "inspirational" country song "Wishin' Boot".

In the video Blake looks a lot like Alan Jackson and he's joined by Wynonna and Alison Krauss inspired singers.

I bet writing songs like this are a nice break for him.  I wonder if Miranda helped him out at all, or if he called Brad Paisley to brainstorm.
