Whether you're walking the dog, checking out the waves or even training for Grandma’s  Marathon (which isn't easy with the snow and ice), use extreme caution around the Aerial Lift Bridge. It never occurs to me that there could be potential danger lurking above me, other than from the pigeons and seagulls.

Pedestrians and motorists near the Aerial Lift Bridge are being urged to use caution when approaching and/or crossing the bridge and to watch for falling snow and ice. Snow and ice has accumulated on the steel beams of the bridge.  Winds and temperature changes are causing falling heavy clumps of snow.  Plus, the walk way is slippery too. The walkway will remain open, but you are encouraged to remain attentive and take precautions while on or near the bridge, proceed carefully in that area.
