While many people in the Northland have already donated their time to ring bells for the Salvation Army, there is still a very large need for people.

According to their press release, the Duluth Salvation Army has nearly 800 two-hour shifts available and if volunteers do not step forward, the kettle locations will sit empty.  Therefore, they have decided to sweeten the deal to get more volunteers.

Any individual who signs up for three shifts will receive a pair of tickets to a Duluth Huskies baseball game in June 2015. Additionally, any group or business that registers for the most bell ringing shifts between now and Christmas will receive four VIP box seat tickets to a UMD Bulldogs hockey game at AMSOIL Arena.  They will also earn a little hardware and receive the Red Kettle traveling trophy and “bragging rights” for the upcoming year.

It’s not too late to volunteer at one of the 18 kettle locations in the Duluth area and considering the weather forecast calls for 40 degree temps this weekend, sign up today.

Use the link below to register now, or call Jill at 218-722-7934 ext. 114, and a big "thank you" to all Northland bell ringers.
