The National Football League announced 2018 preseason opponents for each team and both the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers will get to face former players.

The Minnesota Vikings open the preseason in Denver where they will get to chase former quarterback Case Keenum around for a series or two.

Here are the Minnesota Vikings 2018 Preseason Games:

  • Preseason Week 1 (Aug. 9-13): at Denver Broncos
  • Preseason Week 2 (Aug. 16-20): vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Preseason Week 3 (Aug. 23-26): vs. Seattle Seahawks
  • Preseason Week 4 (Aug. 30): at Tennessee Titans

Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers will get a chance to cover former wide receiver Jordy Nelson in week three of the preseason when they travel to Oakland to face the Raiders.  This one should be even more interesting as starters generally play into the second half of the third preseason game.

Here are the Green Bay Packers 2018 Preseason Games:

  • Preseason Week 1 (Aug. 9-13): vs. Tennessee Titans
  • Preseason Week 2 (Aug. 16-20): vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Preseason Week 3 (Aug. 23-26): at Oakland Raiders
  • Preseason Week 4 (Aug. 30): at Kansas City Chiefs

This is all well and good, but what I think most NFL fans really want to see is a decrease in the price of preseason tickets due to the lack of playing time of the starters.

How cool would it be to get preseason tickets half price at least and save on concessions for these exhibitions?
