The first week of the NFL season, Eric Kendricks won the NFC Defensive Player Of The Week Award.  Then, not to be outdone, Stefon Diggs won the NFC Offensive Player Of The Week Award after the week two victory over the Packers.  Now, after week 3, it was time for the defense to win again.

The Vikings have announced that DE Everson Griffen has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week after recording four tackles (three solo), including three tackles for loss and three sacks, and nine quarterback hurries in Minnesota’s Week Three victory over the 2015 NFC Champion Carolina Panthers.  This is the second time that Griffen has won the award.

This week, I have a feeling it'll have to be the offense to step up as the Vikings face star WR Odell Beckham Jr and the New York Giants.
