Thank you!  This week's Property Crimes Person of the Week has been arrested by the Duluth Police Department.  It’s a good feeling to know that information you’ve shared with the police may have helped apprehend a suspect. The Duluth Police Department has been sending out information on the “Property Crimes Person of the Week” and found that it has helped locate the individual and in many cases has lead to an arrest, as it did in this case.

PREVIOUSLY:

They are looking for Samuel James Nelson born October 10, 1989.  He is a 24 year old white male that stands 6'1" tall and weighs 180.  He has blue eyes and brown hair.

Sam Nelson has a felony warrant for his arrest for failure to appear on a charge of possession of shoplifting gear.

The Duluth Police Department is asking for your help in locating Samuel Nelson. If you or anyone you know has information, has seen or knows the whereabouts of Nelson they are asked to call 911 or use the Duluth Police Department's Tip411.

UPDATE:

On Friday, June 6th at 5:00 PM Duluth Police put out a press release asking the public’s assistance in locating Nelson. On Saturday, June 7th, 2014 at 8:51 PM Duluth Police responded to an address in the #10 block of Juniper Lane after developing information that he was there.  Officers located and arrested him. Nelson was transported to the Saint Louis County Jail for the warrant.
