My daughter Kylee graduates from UMD next month.  Tonight's UMD Maroon-White Spring Game is bittersweet for her and her roommates (my pseudo daughters).  It's the 42nd annual Maroon-White Spring Game and the team is using tonight to help others.

The intrasquad scrimmage will be held at Malosky Stadium will start at 6p.  It's free to attend, but if you could so kindly bring a clothing item or canned good to the game that would be fantastic.  The UMD football team plans on making donations to the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank and the Goodwill Industries.  You won't have to hold your donation during the game, just look for the collection bins outside the main entrance on your way int and thank you in advance!

Know Before You Go

The scrimmage will be a little different than a regulation game.  According to WDIO.com the first and second quarters will be 10 minutes, the third and fourth will be 7 minutes.  The ball will be placed on the 25 yard line following each kick-off.  All turnovers will be blown dead and if there happens to be an overtime, the ball will be placed on the 10-yard line.
