UMD Bulldog, Jack Connolly Assists At Guns N’ Hoses

A big thank you to everyone who came out to the Wade last night for the 4th Annual Guns N Hoses Softball Challenge pitting the Duluth Police Department against the Duluth Firefighters. Congratulations to the Police, winning the challenge again this year.

The weather was absolutely perfect...the crowd of hundreds enjoyed free food from Texas Roadhouse and my surprise of the evening was a visit from UMD Bulldog Hockey Star, Jack Connolly, sporting the NCAA Champs trophy.  The evening is a fundraiser for the Northern Lights Foundation, whose mission is to grant wishes and distribute funds that address the needs and wishes of Northland children and their families with life-threatening medical conditions.
