TwinsFest 2017 is this weekend at Target Field and not only will tickets for the 2017 home opener versus Kansas City go on sale Friday, January 27, in conjunction with the start of TwinsFest, the team also announced that there will be daily themes.

Here are the themes you can enjoy each day:

  • Friday at TwinsFest will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the 1987 World Series Champion Minnesota Twins. The experience will consist of a special autograph session with members of the 1987 team including Bert Blyleven, Dan Gladden, Kent Hrbek, Gene Larkin, Tim Laudner, Al Newman, Roy Smalley, coach Tony Oliva, and manager Tom Kelly. In addition, historic 1987 memorabilia with Twins artifacts will be on display, fans can attend a roundtable interview on the U.S. Bank Stage, as well as photo opportunities with the 1987 World Series Trophy.
  • Saturday will celebrate great moments in Twins History. The first base lounge will host special themed autograph opportunities, focusing on honorable milestones and historic moments throughout the organization. Autograph sessions will be highlighted by Eric Milton, Jack Morris and Mudcat Grant’s mound magic; hitting heroes Michael Cuddyer and Joe Mauer; Brian Dozier’s record-breaking 42 home run season; as well as baseball’s best Paul Molitor and Bert Blyleven.
  • Sunday will once again be Kids Day. Children 14 and under will have unique opportunities including discounted autograph sessions, free batting cages, and a Kids Auction hosted by Joe Mauer and Dick Bremer.

TwinsFest runs this Friday, January 27 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, January 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
