My friend Jen posted this picture on facebook.  Until I read her post, "We are making trick-or-treat bags out of old T-shirts at the neighborhood party on Sat.", I had no idea what it was.  What a fantastic weekend project with your kids, they'll be excited to use them on Thursday (Halloween) and it's environmentally friendly.

When my daughter Kylee was young, both she and  I looked forward to our weekend art projects.  It was fun to surprise her with different ideas and now I have a box of mementos that make me smile and together we have memories to last a lifetime.

This t-shirt treat bag is tied off at the bottom with knots, just like the DIY fleece tie blankets.  This is a great idea for Girl and Boy Scout leaders or even day care providers and teachers.  Warning:  You DO use scissors, adult supervision is suggested and encouraged.
