Travel On Blatnik Bridge To Switch Lanes On August 27th

A travel update regarding work being done on the Blatnik Bridge.  Travelers have been only able to travel from Duluth to Superior on the south bound lanes, but soon there will be a switch as those lanes close and the north bound lanes open.

The Northland's NewsCenter is reporting that the switch was supposed to happen later this week, but now that switch will take place on Monday, August 27th so be prepared to alter your travel route accordingly.

Both lanes are expected to be open sometime in October and then more work will be needed to be done next May.
