It's nice that the City of Duluth has been giving us heads up about where they are planning to do road construction. That way, if it's the route you usually travel, you can choose an alternate route.  Next Monday, September 29, they will be working near 11th Avenue East and Skyline.  Here's the full details, share them on social media with friends and family it may also affect.

Of course, this is weather permitting, but here's the plan:

Street Maintenance crews will be making road improvements along East 11th Ave at 11th Street and Skyline Parkway near Kenwood Avenue. They will begin working on Monday, September 29th to close off the street for reclamation work which will then be followed up with installation of new pavement.

You can expect this same work and road closure to also take place on Skyline Parkway from Kenwood Ave to the Chester Bowl Bridge. They're hoping this work will be completed before the end of the week.  Again, that's dependent on weather conditions.

Traffic will be allowed through the street when crews are not working on the road. The City thanks the public for their patience as we work to improve road conditions for all transit users.
