Traffic Advisory For Minnesota Assistance Council For Veterans Annual “Stand Down”Event This Friday

You should make plans to take an alternative route if you are near the train depot in Duluth this Friday August 24th.  The Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans will be holding their annual "Stand Down" event. The event starts at 8:00am and will end at 2:00pm.

Michigan Street from 5 th AVe W to 6th Ave W will be closed to traffic from 7:00am to approximately 3:00pm to allow for event set up / tear down.  This will include the closing of the Michigan Street exit off the freeway.

Other helpful traffic information:

6th Ave W will be coned for 2-way traffic to allow access to the parking lot next to the Depot.

Michigan Street from 5th Ave W to 6th Ave W will be posted "No Parking after 6:00am"

Drivers are urged to use caution when driving the area of this event.
