Sam Hunt is trying to notch the No. 1 song on the Taste of Country Top 40 for a third straight month, but his latest hit has competition in May 2015. Little Big Town, Tyler Farr and Keith Urban are all pressing for that top spot.

A Thousand Horses also push for No. 1, but "Smoke" ultimately comes up a little short. Still, leaping from unranked to No. 3 in two months time is pretty impressive. Brett Eldredge's "Lose My Mind" is the highest debuting new song, checking in at No. 19 this month. The girl in his video probably helped his cause.

Ultimately, LBT's "Girl Crush" can't be denied. The song soared to the best sales week of any country song in 2015 after an impressive performance at the ACM Awards. Hunt settles in at No. 2, but his new song "House Party" also cracks the Top 40, debuting at No. 30. He's double-timing it!
