Last year when the Minnesota Timberwolves brought Kevin Garnett back, there were assumptions that they would bring him back for next season and, perhaps, beyond.  Today, they confirmed those assumptions.

According to ESPN, the Timberwolves and Garnett have agreed in principle on a two-year deal.  If he plays both years, he will be playing into his 40's.  It's expected that he will play around 20 minutes per game to save on his body, but he will have great value mentoring a team filled with elite young talent.

The Timberwolves also signed first round pick Karl-Anthony Towns.  Below is the full report from ESPN.
