If there's one thing both fans of AMC's 'The Walking Dead' and the Image comics of the same name know, it's that any character can be placed on the chopping block at any time. 'The Walking Dead' season 3 has already cost the lives of two major characters in eight episodes, but will things get worse as time goes on? With the battle between Woodbury and the prison claim more lives when 'The Walking Dead' returns on February 10? Find out what producer Greg Nicotero has to say inside!

While 'The Walking Dead' can lose as many names in real-life as on screen, fans remain on edge to see who will be added to the ranks of the fallen when the second half of AMC's third season premieres on Sunday, Febrary 10 with "The Suicide King." Visual effects guru, director and executive producer Greg Nicotero recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter of the zombie-killer-thriller's upcoming return, laying out what kind of body count fans can expect:

We've established a certain scenario on our show where nobody is safe -- and certainly in the back-half of our season, it doesn't get easy for anybody. We have the whole Woodbury community with the Governor and our principal cast. We'll probably end our season minus a castmember or two.

Given that 'The Walking Dead' already delivered one of the series' biggest gut-punches by  - SPOILER ALERT - killing off Lori early in the season, it seems any other surviving members of the cast might be fair play, even those who only joined the ranks in mid-season finale "Made to Suffer." Certainly things don't look good for Daryl, perhaps even Andrea for having her loyalties torn in two by her friends' re-appearances.

Well, what say you? Do you think more fan-favorite characters will be killed off before 'The Walking Dead' season 3 comes to a close? Who do you think has the biggest target on their backs? Give us your predictions for the February 10 return in the comments!
