I love the NFL top selling jersey list and NHL top selling jersey list, so when I came across this list I had to share it with you. Especially since a local boy is #2 on the list, find out who and where the Twins rank overall in sales after the break.

One of the most popular lists I put out is the league jersey sales lists. The NBA and the NFL have been doing it for years, but now Major League Baseball enters the fray.

The Yankees’ Derek Jeter(notes) checks in at No. 1, while Minnesota’s Joe Mauer is second.

If we go deeper into the Top 20, it’s clear that younger players are the theme. Twelve of the top 20 players are under 30 years old, including Ryan Braun (No. 14), Justin Morneau (No. 15), Jacoby Ellsbury (No. 16) and Ian Kinsler (No. 17).

Here’s a look at the top 10 teams by licensed product sales in 2010:

1. New York Yankees

2. Boston Red Sox

3. Los Angeles Dodgers

4. Philadelphia Phillies

5. Chicago Cubs

6. St. Louis Cardinals

7. Chicago White Sox

8. Atlanta Braves

9. Minnesota Twins

10. Detroit Tigers
