I sit down with my son Sam and help him with homework from time to time. By help, I mean I will explain what he needs to do to figure out an answer or check his work when he can't get the right answer. Like me, he has trouble with math. This particular day, I discovered he had surpassed me in the brains department.

Sam was getting frustrated with a problem and once I explained to him how to do it he was ok. As I looked down at his paper I saw, Marsha has 23 shells, Marcus has 27 rocks, and Betty has 28 shells, if they all gave what they have to Brenda, how many shells would Brenda have? So, Sam wrote 51. I immediately corrected him and said, "No, there are 88!". Sam says, "Dad, you only have to add up shells".

That was the moment I realized, Sam had become smarter than me.

Here's some other stupid people.
