There is now an officially gathering for Minnesota pheasant hunters.  The first-ever Minnesota pheasant summit is set for Dec. 13 at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.

The day-long discussion will focus on strategies to increase the state’s pheasant population and improve pheasant habitat.

The event is free and open to the public.  The DNR’s Mike Tenney says there are only limited openings remaining and below he tells us what you can expect at the summit.
