The Depot Foundations Arts and Culture Awards Recipients Honored at Circle of Friends Celebration

Several individuals in our area, who have made a significant contribution to the arts and culture of the region, will be honored by the Depot Foundation at the Thirteenth Annual Arts and Culture Awards ceremony. It will be held in conjunction with the Circle of Friends Celebration on Thursday October 18.This will be an opportunity to thank an artist, volunteer, a philanthropist? Maybe an administrator or organization. Congratulations to the following recipients of the 2012 Depot Foundation Arts and Culture Awards.

Lifetime Achievement Award:  Laura Budd

Artist Award: Richard Gruchalla and Carrin Rosetti

Lifetime Artist Award:  Tom Isbell

Community Enrichment Award:  Erin Aldridge

Initiative Award: Calland Metts and Sarah Lawrence

Historic reservation and Interpretation Award: Tony Dierckins

Call the Depot Foundation office at (218) 279-9913 for information and to make a reservation to celebrate at the annual Circle of Friends Celebration honoring Depot Foundation members and the Arts and Culture Awards recipients on Thursday, October 18, 2012.  It will be held at the St. Louis County Heritage and Arts Center (the Depot), 506 West Michigan Street, Duluth.  Cost is $30 p/person and includes Hors d' oeuvres and Dinner Reception at 6:30, awards to follow.
