Taylor Swift Beats Out Paul McCartney for July Concert Crown

Time will tell if we’ll still need her when she’s 64, but last month, Taylor Swift was the biggest concert draw in the land — selling even more tickets than Paul McCartney.
According to numbers released by the ticketing service TicketsNow, Swift accounted for an amazing six percent of system-wide sales, good enough to place her sixth on the all-agency list of events for the month.
According to Entertainment Weekly, other musical acts in the top 10 included Katy Perry, Lil Wayne, and U2. Swift’s tour is really just getting warmed up, with dates extending through November.
Fittingly, Swift’s latest video — for her single ‘Sparks Fly’ — is a concert performance clip paying tribute to the fans that have been turning out in droves for the tour.
