The Minnesota Twins today unveiled a new primary home uniform, which will be worn starting with the 2015 season. The new white uniforms feature a clean, contemporary look with the team’s traditional scarlet red and navy blue accented by Minnesota Kasota Gold, a color symbolizing the signature Mankato limestone which is so prominent at Target Field.

The Minnesota Kasota Gold, which was first introduced as part of the 2014 Major League Baseball All-Star Game marks, accents the modern Twins script across the chest of the jerseys and is also featured in the piping on the sleeves, neckline, pants and sleeve patch.  In addition, the new gold highlights the team’s traditional "TC" logo on a new alternate cap to be worn with this uniform.

"The Twins have a proud tradition and believe the team’s uniforms have long been among the best in baseball," said Dave St. Peter, Twins President. "’We are excited to introduce a new contemporary primary home uniform which evolves our brand via the introduction of a gold accent color representative of our home state, as well as our home ballpark."

The new primary home uniform replaces the white pinstriped jerseys and pants the team has worn since 1987. On select home dates, the Twins will continue to wear the pinstriped home alternate uniform: a throwback jersey from 1961 that was reintroduced during the 2010 season. The Twins gray road uniforms and navy blue alternate jersey – both introduced in 2010 – remain unchanged.
