My daughter graduated from Hermantown High School and my husband is good friends with Kevin Folman's father, so when we heard he would be the starting pitcher for the Duluth Huskies we were ecstatic!  He's always been athletic and we're excited to see where his sporting career takes him.

One of the nicest days so far this year just so happen to fall on the Huskies 2015 season opener and the fans came out in droves to watch the Huskies kick-off the season with a win and celebrate with fireworks.

There will be an open house held for the public to hear about a proposed plan that will make the West Duluth sports corridor a premiere athletic destination for Northeastern Minnesota.  You should fill out the questionnaire and attend the meeting to have your voice heard.  A project like this is important to our future athletes and the revenue potential our to our City could be enormous.

It will be a memorable day with beautiful weather and the start of something BIG!  You are invited to the groundbreaking ceremony of Wade Stadium, home of the Huskies with potential for so much more!

The collapse of a part of a wall at Wade Stadium recently put the spotlight on how old and weakened the facility has become.  The Duluth Huskies need to play there and it is a historic part of the Northland, but getting funds for necessary repairs is tricky.  Duluth Mayor Don Ness has a plan.

A historic ballpark in Duluth has been in need of repair for a long time.  Wednesday, time and weather finally caught up to Wade Stadium as part of the Duluth Huskies home field collapsed.
