The Minnesota State Primary Election is set to take place on Tuesday, August 9, 2016.  If you intend to pre-register to vote in the primary, you still have time to return your voter registration cards to the Duluth City Clerk's office.  The deadline is Tuesday, July 19.

This amendment would make it a requirement to have a government issued photo ID in order to vote in Minnesota.  I was actually amazed when I moved, and then registered to vote in my new location, how little verification was actually required. In my opinion, you need
