If you're sick of political ads and this horrific election season, you need to watch this.  This may bring back just a little faith in politics.  Maybe we can get a good message across and not be so negative after all.  I love this!

The Minnesota State Primary Election is set to take place on Tuesday, August 9, 2016.  If you intend to pre-register to vote in the primary, you still have time to return your voter registration cards to the Duluth City Clerk's office.  The deadline is Tuesday, July 19.

Bell Helmets will be awarding $100,000 to a city to fund a trail building project.  Duluth needs your vote!  The project would be for a bike park at Spirit Mountain.  Duluth is faced against Red Rock Park in New Mexico and Cedar Creek Trail in New Mexico.  At the time of this article, Duluth has a narrow lead.

The election to narrow down the candidates for the City of Superior's Mayor is happening today.  But who do you vote for?  What are the platforms of the candidates?  Fortunately, with the power of the internet, it's easy to make an informed decision today.

Election day is here! Before heading to the polls, the office of the Secretary of State in Minnesota and the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board remind voters of easy to use online tools to get ready to vote.

I think this is one of those years where it is confusing as to what each candidate stands for, what they are running on and who they are opposing. Most of the ads I see are telling you what the other does wrong. If I believe them, no one deserves to be in office.

You will still have to prove residency in your district, show your driver's license and sign the paper before you get a ballot, but what's ON your ballot may change.  The Duluth City Council is considering "ranked-choice" voting.  How do you feel about that?

I remember when I turned 18, I thought voting for the first time was a big deal, and I've  continued voting as I don't take that right lightly.  The Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State has launched a "Now Say It" campaign, encouraging high school seniors to register to vote.
