<p>The 29-year old vet had lost his left arm in Afghanistan, so he had nothing to brace himself with when he used his baseball cap as a glove and reached over the railing to snag a ball off of the bat of Curtis Granderson.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We've spent a lot of time this week making sure our soldiers know we appreciate all they do.  Of course where we are today is in large part to the aging veterans of past wars.  What a life this last WWI vet must have lived.<br />
Claude Stanley Choules, the last known combat veteran of World War I, died Thursday at a nursing home in the Western Australia city of Perth, his family said. He was 110.</p>
