So, I'm looking around at vintage electronics online and it somehow leads me to this video.  This is an actual Duluth television commercial break from 1970 and wait until you see the electronics in a couple of the ads, which appear to be locally produced which only ads to the fun.  Not only that but I'm pretty sure the music in the Target ad is what is played in elevators in hell.  Nothing can top the wig commercial though.  Wait until you see these things!  Enjoy this trip into the past. FCC Passes Rules Requiring Broadcast, Satellite And Cable Companies To Quiet Down Loud Ads

So many times I'm watching a show and then BOOM!  A COMMERCIAL COMES ON SO LOUD I DROP MY DORITOS!!!  Looks like others have noticed too and now regulations are ready to be enforced.

 
On Tuesday, the FCC passed a set of regulations that will prevent commercials from being louder than the shows around them. It's all part of the Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation (or CALM) Act, which President Obama signed into law last December. The rules go into effect

’60 Minutes’ Stalwart Andy Rooney Dies at Age 92 [VIDEO]

For 33 years, the CBS Sunday night newsmagazine ’60 Minutes’ ended with Andy Rooney providing his wry and sometimes cantankerous observations on topics ranging from religion to his messy office.
