Superior's newest restaurant is about to open!

The wait is almost over!

In March, a bustling Duluth business will open a new location on Tower Avenue in Superior. The deal has been in the works for almost a year.

Taco Bell is finally coming to Superior! We have confirmation that construction is underway on a brand new building in a new location.

New owners have recently taken over the Capri Bar location. They've changed the name, and have some big plans for the future.

It was early morning on Sunday when the fire department received a call that a fire had broke out on the second floor of the long standing Capri Bar on Tower Avenue in Superior.

A massive renovation is taking place in Downtown Superior where the old Luyre Furniture was located.  The building, Empire Block LLC, is being converted into a retail store front on the main level.  There will also be apartments on the second and third floor.  Watch this video to see the progress.

Road construction has been taking place for quite some time now on Belknap Street in Superior.  It's a necessary evil, as this stretch has needed to be fixed for quite some time.  A glaring problem has come up though, and it's frustrated quite a few people.  You aren't supposed to turn from Tower Avenue onto Belknap Street, but people still do.   This causes some pretty bad traffic congestion. Last summer downtown Superior got a major facelift after the reconstruction project on North Tower Avenue.  It officially reopened in October, but they've been working this summer on landscaping projects.  This weekend they are ready to celebrate!
