I've never seen a tornado like this.  This took place on June 18th, 2014, and was filmed by TVNweather.com.  They got some great footage of a large tornado and it's multiple vortices.  It is a must see video!

Earlier this week an EF4 tornado ripped throw Pilger, Nebraska.  Gene Willers, a Midwest Bank President rushed his staff of eight into the bank vault to take shelter, but there was a problem.  Someone would have to remain outside to lock it.  Gene took that responsibility himself.

As we enter the spring and summer storm season, the National Weather Service will be conducting a tornado drill in both Minnesota and Wisconsin today (April 24).

Waterspouts are generally a warm-season phenomenon, appearing over large bodies of water like Lake Superior. Saturday afternoon (December 7), multiple cold air waterspouts were spotted near Knife River, north of Duluth on the Minnesota North Shore.

A series of strong storms swept through the Twin Ports region yesterday, including an afternoon storm that brought gusty winds and small hail to Duluth around lunchtime. Later in the day, a severe thunderstorm about 70 miles west of Duluth touched down near Remer, and tracked southeast toward Hill City.

Syfy channel is known for having some low budget ridiculous sci-fi movies.   Recently, they may have had their best and worst movie yet:  Sharknado.   It's a movie about Tornadoes that sling man eating sharks and people.   Yep, you read it right... it's a movie about shark tornadoes.

A youth softball team, coaches and family members are safe after a close call with another round of tornadoes Friday night in Oklahoma.

Perhaps the term 'Minnesota Nice' should be changed to 'Minnesota Generous'.  The Salvation Army and its supporters have amassed a groundswell of aid for Oklahoma tornado relief, including volunteers, $250,000 worth of off-road vehicles, a $100,000 corporate donation and $50,000 worth of private donations.

Officials in Oklahoma have lowered the number of deaths suffered to 24 in the massive tornado that swept through the town of Moore Monday night. Originally, the figure had been as high as 51, probably a result of double-counting.

Dozens of people including children were killed after a massive tornado tore a swath of destruction through an area outside Oklahoma City yesterday. In fact, it was such a terrible scene that local KFOR reporter Lance West broke down while reporting the news.

The country continues to pray for and help the people devastated by the massive tornado that touched down in Oklahoma on Monday, killing dozens.

An enormous tornado with a debris cloud two miles wide tore through the metropolitan area just south of Oklahoma City on Monday afternoon. UPDATE 9:28 p.m. EST: At least 51 people were killed in the storm, including seven children from Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore, according to KFOR in Oklahoma City. The news station reported that 75 student and staff were inside the school when the sto
