Taylor today in the Taste Of Country Music News Minute explained that her mom was her only friend when she was 13. She also recalled that no one would talk to her during lunch. No doubt that gave her life experiences to write about and give her success.

April 3, 2011 The ACM's are complete and I thought this year was one of the best, and better than the CMA Awards last fall. The pace was nice and all the artists sounded great. Sometimes they may sound great if you are there, but on TV it sounds off with the vocals being mixed too quiet --but I thought this show did as good as you can do. Steven Tyler with Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley with Alabama, James Taylor with Zac Brown Band, Taylor Swift's 'Mean' -- the list goes on and on of terrific performances and I'm sure you have your favorites too, but let's get to who took home some hardware.
