I had the opportunity to talk to Austin McCurdy, the 15 year old IWA racer that will be coming to the Superior Watercross Shootout on August 17 and 18.  He has wanted to race since he was 4 years old, following in the footsteps of his father.

After a day of high octane fun at the Benna Ford Roush Superior Watercross Shootout, you'll need a place to rest that motorhead of yours and there are plenty of great places in Superior and Duluth, some resources for you to book a room.

This weekend the Moose Lake Grand Prix opens up the International Watercross Association's season.  If you're unfamiliar with the IWA, it's snowmobiles racing on water.  It's a fast action sport that is taking off as it's a thrill to watch.  Cathy and I got to talk to one of the racers, Krista this morning about how it all works.

Barker's Island is Superior will play host to an exciting extreme sporting event this summer with the inaugural Superior Watercross Shootout, this will mark the first time an International Watercross Association or IWA event will be held in the Twin Ports.

Watercross racing is an extreme sport that started over three decades ago and it is finally starting to grow in popularity across the country, and this summer Twin Ports residents will be able to experience this unique and exciting sport in person at the Superior Watercross Shootout August 17th and 18th!
